The Untamed has teamed up with Mad Mountain to help share the story of Mad Alps— a new outdoor festival celebrating mountain biking, lifestyle, local culture and the incredible landscapes of the Julian Alps.

Taking place in Tarvisio, Italy from 4–6 September 2026, Mad Alps brings together riders, runners, adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts for a weekend of guided rides, talks, great local food and plenty of time spent in the mountains. The festival is designed for everyone from seasoned athletes to first-time adventurers or those who just want to experience a yoga session, with a focus on community, sustainability and exploring the region at your own pace.

We’re excited to support the Mad Mountain team by helping tell the stories behind the event and showcase everything that makes the Julian Alps such a special place to explore.
