ADAPTIVE ADVENTURE +
The outdoors shouldn’t have barriers. Adventure belongs to everyone.
About
The outdoors has an incredible way of building confidence, creating connection and reminding us what we’re capable of. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience that.
Adaptive Adventure provides one-to-one outdoor support for children, teenagers and adults living with physical, intellectual or psychosocial disabilities.
Whether that’s going for a walk, riding a bike, exploring a forest, spending time in nature, taking photographs, visiting a local park or enjoying community activities, we’re here to provide support, encouragement and companionship every step of the way.
Every adventure is different because every person is different. We work at a pace that feels comfortable, focusing on participation, confidence and enjoying the outdoors together.
Support sessions may be privately funded or accessed through eligible government funding programs where available.

Your ADVENTURE COMPANION
Elsie Sauer
Hi, I’m Elsie. I’m an Australian outdoor guide, photographer and founder of The Untamed. After spending more than 20 years working in photography, tourism and outdoor adventure—including running my own guiding and photography business in Japan—I now call South Styria home.
I’m passionate about making the outdoors more accessible and helping people experience the confidence, connection and freedom that comes from spending time in nature. Whether it’s a walk around the neighbourhood, your first trail run, a nature photography session, an adaptive cycling adventure or an 80km charity ride, we’re here for the early starts, muddy shoes, finish lines and everything in between.
I operate as a registered Personal Support (Personenbetreuung) business in Austria and hold a current Australian Working With Children Check. My focus is providing safe, supportive and enjoyable outdoor experiences for children, teenagers and adults living with disabilities, always working at a pace that suits the individual.
Adventure looks different for everyone—and that’s exactly the way it should be.
